The Backstory
Calfrun has arisen from a bear market where dreams are made — the hustle and bustle of a competitive market that betrays and manipulates. The story begins with a little calf who was really small, and at first didn't have the lungs to breathe. He fought through the struggles of legal scams, tech issues, and the wrestle of establishing an enhanced frequency on how to proceed.
With the world's economy at the brink of destruction, resources scarce, and conspiracies becoming facts — Calfrun races forward with a new perspective and mission in mind. He is not your ordinary calf. He comes with a story, a plot, a plan, a purpose, and a mission.
The World of Calfrun
In a post-apocalyptic, futuristic world after World War 3 — fought over energy, technology, and the race to Mars — humans abandoned Earth, taking some enhanced animals but leaving many behind. Through pre-war experiments implanting AI chips, certain animals gained human-like intelligence, upright posture, speech, and wisdom.
Calfrun is a young bull anomaly — born without an implant, yet exceptionally intelligent and imaginative. He lives in Bullpen Boroughs, an exclusive, heavily guarded enclave in the city of Aries. Inspired by his engineer father's warnings about Earth's impending destruction and a shortfall in evacuation ships, Calfrun secretly begins building his own massive spaceship using scrap parts — to save himself, his friends, and their families.
His Crew
Mo
A wheelchair-bound bull, born with a condition that kept him hidden for years. After a public scandal and court case aided by his mother's connections, Mo was accepted into the city and treated like royalty. He is resilient, resourceful, and one of Calfrun's most loyal friends.
Mooch
One of the twin bulls who lived with Calfrun's family. Mooch cannot stand fully upright — a trait common among some bulls who then serve prestigiously on the charge line defense. Slow but deliberate, capable and determined.
Mocha
Mooch's twin, and perhaps the most gifted of the group. Mocha is highly intelligent, excels in electronics and science, and builds things with eager enthusiasm. She is a force of innovation who earns respect through action.
